Zhongshan Ruike New Energy Co., Ltd. is located in Zhongshan, Guangdong — one of the major cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. Ruike was jointly established by China's new energy leading enterprise Mingyang Smart Energy Group, Ltd. and US solar company Clean Energy International, Inc. in August, 2015. As the leading provider of CdTe thin film photovoltaic (PV) products in China and one of the best in the world, Ruike is not only committed to the research and development, production, sales of PV modules, but also vigorously developing green building materials, building integrated PV(BIPV) market by providing power glass for green buildings, net zero energy buildings, etc.

After years of independent research and development led by Stanford University Alumni, Ruike has developed the core technology for rapid coating equipment, superior product stability and high conversion efficiency, as well as the efficient and stable manufacturing process of CdTe PV modules. Ruike has built a 100MW CdTe module production line in early 2018, which filled the gap in the development and application of the technology of CdTe PV modules in China. The R&D team has achieved 20% cell efficiency in lab and 16% module efficiency on production line. Ruike’s thin film technology is unquestionably the best in China, by any metric, including throughput, efficiency and product diversity.

Ruike continuously explores new application in clean and renewable energy. We have developed more than 40 different power glass products, some of which can be tailored to different shapes, transparency, color and pattern, others are heat insulated, soundproof, or combined with lighting and video capability. Ruike products are now the new favorite among all green building materials for their high efficiency, low degradation rate and high recyclability besides their rigorous safety standard. Ruike power glass can be used for traditional ground solar farms, rooftop distributed systems, curtain wall for buildings, sunroofs, sunrooms, parking structures etc.

Ruike is accelerating its efforts developing markets worldwide. The certification of ISO9001, ISO14001, VDE, UL and “Golden Sun” Ruike obtained is providing a strong foundation for the success on international markets.
